MILAN – The result was certainly pleasing to Daniele Bernazzani as his lads defeated the Australians of Melbourne Phoenix 3-0 to top the group and secure qualification to the round of 16 of the Viareggio Tournament. The game was never really at risk for the Nerazzurri and they settled it in the first half thanks to a brace from Colombi (minutes 7 and 45) and a penalty from Garritano (32nd minute). In the second half, Inter simply managed the play and their energies, which will be useful for the coming challenge – one that certainly promises to be a more daunting one.
