MILAN – The Nerazzurri Primavera put three big points on the board at the Viareggio Tournament this afternoon, edging a cagey affair to beat Virtus Entella 1-0 in their second group game.
Terrani settled the encounter in the 18th minute when he beat the opposition keeper with a tidy angled finish following some fine work by Gabbianelli. The rest of the game was played out at a slow pace and largely void of emotions, as Inter held onto their lead comfortably.
Today's result leaves the Nerazzurri top of Group 2 with maximum points after two games and in a strong position to qualify for the last 16. They can seal their place as group winners with a draw against Melbourne Phoenix on Friday.
