APPIANO GENTILE- Tardelli’s respect for Pirlo is well known. Pirlo was one of his men in the Under 21 team and more than repayed his coach :" I talked to Andrea this morning as well as to the rest of the players who were at Pinetina. I consider Pirlo an important player who’ll be useful to the team , above all if I field the same line-up I used in the Under 21 .
