MILAN - Francesco Toldo received an 'Il Campione' award on behalf of Inter Campus today, during a ceremony held at the Sala Alessi in Palazzo Marino. The Mayor of Milan, Giuliano Pisapia, was among those attending the event, which is now in its 12th edition.
The brainchild of City Angels founder Mario Furlan, in collaboration with CarloVittorio Giovannelli's Osservatorio Giornalistico Mediawatch, the award pays tribute to 'Champions' of social work - individuals and associations who have helped the community in a concrete way or spread a powerful moral message. The ten 'Champions' were chosen by a jury composed of the editors-in-chief of 14 Italian newspapers.
