STRAMACCIONI: "MY STRONGEST TEAM AGAINST ROMA"

Coach spoke to Inter Channel about tomorrow's semi-final: "We're here to win this, it's not a game you rotate for"

ROME – The day before Roma and Inter meet in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg, Andrea Stramaccioni spoke to Inter Channel and gave his thoughts about tomorrow's game. Giallorossi and Nerazzurri are set to do battle at the Stadio Olimpico again, just three days after their Serie A encounter.

"From the very start of the season we've said that all the competitions are important for us. Now that we've come this far, we want to win this semi-final. Tomorrow you'll see an Inter team fighting to win. I'll try to put out the strongest line-up possible – this is definitely not one of those games you rotate for. I think Roma will field a side with eight players who are the same as those who played on Sunday. I expect it to be an open game like the league match was, because against Roma – from a tactical point of view - games are very open. We showed on Sunday that we've come here to win and that's what we'll try to do, even though we are a bit short up front."

The Nerazzurri coach also spoke about Ricardo Alvarez, who started  training with the rest of the group again yesterday: "I wanted him here so that he could get two days of training under his belt. I'll make a decision about whether or not to use him tomorrow, but he'll certainly be on the bench."
