APPIANO GENTILE - Alvaro Pereira is the special guest on Prima Serata, tonight at 21:00 on Inter Channel. The defender, a humble and at times shy man - despite the little salsa demo he performs after being dared by Fredy Guarin via video message ("I dare you to dance the salsa on TV, Palito!") - is focused on his team's aims and reveals all, with a smile on his face.
"We work hard to win, in all competitions, including the league. We know we need to first and foremost win our matches - which is the most difficult thing - but if we can win and the sides around us were to drop points... I'm not choosing one target, we're fighting on all fronts and we'll give it everything. Now we need to make the most of our victories over Pescara and Bologna and keep winning."
Next up, it's Roma: "We want to, we must win both in the league and the cup. Will the fact that both sides went to extra time in midweek have an impact on Sunday's match? We hope to be rested come Sunday. Despite the operation on my fractured nose (Pereira appears with a plaster on his nose), I am fit. If the coach needs me, I'll be ready to play against Roma, with a mask, which is obviously not ideal, but I'll get on with it."
