MILAN - Samir Handanovic was one of the heroes on the night, making a couple of decisive interventions to keep Bologna at bay and help see Inter through to the semi-finals. Speaking to Inter Channel after the game, he was asked how good his saves had been: "I'd have to see them again, but anyway the main thing was getting into the next round. I was already thinking about penalties but I'm really happy with the win. It wasn't easy because Bologna are an excellent side. Now we'll give it our best shot in the semi-finals. We just have to keep going one step at a time. Tomorrow we'll start preparing for the Roma game."
Quizzed about the attacking threat posed by Bologna, he replied: "You expect teams to be less cagey in the Coppa Italia because it's a do-or-die game. We goalkeepers have to work a bit harder than in Serie A."
