2012 SPECIAL: PRIMAVERA TITLE, A TEAM EFFORT

Winning cycle under Stramaccioni and Bernazzani; strong squad, secret to success

MILAN - A successful, trophy-laden campaign. The Primavera - under Andrea Stramaccioni until the end of March, then Daniele Bernazzani - won the Scudetto on a magical night in June, beating Lazio in the final. This was the lads' second trophy of the season, having lifted the NextGen Series just 10 weeks earlier. The squad featured players such as Mbaye (scored brace against Palermo in the quarters), Longo (hat-trick hero against AC Milan in the last 4), captain Romanò (goal in the final against Lazio) and Livaja (now a member of the first team, four goals in the Europa League). But the real success of this group was the squad depth. From the opening match against Cittadella, to the great win over the side from the capital and the incredible derby in the semis, we look back on the best moments from the Primavera champions' season:
