NYON – The Nerazzurri’s team
manager Ivan Cordoba commented on the draw in Nyon, which saw Cluj get chosen to face Inter in the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League: "We’ll
face a team that is coming from a difficult group in the Champions League in which they finished third with 10 points, tied with Galatasaray, who advanced thanks to the head to head result. Manchester
United won the group, and Braga – who eliminated Udinese –
finished fourth. It will be a lovely game, and one not
to be underestimated."
Cordoba was asked which team he
had hoped to avoid in the draw: "I don’t have good
memories of Liverpool and I was hoping not to end up against them. However, I would have liked Chelsea, an exciting
challenge. In any case, Inter must be ready to face any team."
Then thoughts turned towards the possible round of 16: "I don’t know, I’d possibly prefer one among Tottenham and Lyon. Let’s see how their matches go. Maybe we could consider Tottenham more dangerous, but it’s not a given."
