APPIANO GENTILE - The first thing you notice about Marco Benassi is his humility and work ethic. The young midfielder wants to still be wearing the Nerazzurri colours in a decade's time. He told Sky Sport Italia: "My aim is to try and become the best player I can, by working hard every day. Where do I see myself in 10 years? At Inter!"
In the meantime Benassi wants to give his best every chance he gets, every time he's called into action: "Matches with the first team help because that's how you improve and understand football, the intensity is different. Which players do I like? Zanetti, he's an example to everyone. Outside of Inter? I like the way Pirlo plays the game."
Marco loves Inter and is ready to commit his future to the club: "I love it here, I'm improving by training with great players but I'll do whatever the club tells me to."
What does he make of Andrea Stramaccioni? "He's a great person, I've got an excellent relationship with him, I did so in the past and I still do. He prepares for matches so well, he always gives 100%."
Finally a word on how far Benassi thinks this Inter side can go: "We've got a great squad, we're a match for anyone and we can fight till the end."
