MILAN - Fifteen years of work received recognition of the highest order in the place where the world comes together. On 28 November, Inter Campus was
presented at
the General Assembly Building of the UN
Headquarters in New York.
A story of children and football, of serious but simple professionals, of imagination and commitment. A concrete social project, which now includes more
than ten thousand children in
twenty-five countries. There to
speak about it was president Massimo Moratti, but also the Italian Ambassador Cesare Maria
Ragaglini, Ban Ki-moon’s Special Adviser on Sport for Development and Peace
Wilfried Lemke, Deputy Executive Director (Programmes) of UNICEF Geeta Rao
Gupta, and Afef Jnifen, who formalised the activation of Inter Campus’ twenty-fifth country,
her own Tunisia.
There have been fifteen years of silent commitment undertaken without posturing, in order to avoid detracting from the soul of an idea that is today run and chaired by Carlotta Moratti.
