APPIANO GENTILE – The Nerazzurri held training late this morning at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in Appiano Gentile. The team was divided into two groups: the players who saw the most action against Parma underwent a light workout, while the others started with a warm-up with the ball, followed by a series of specific training games on a reduced pitch. Finally, they ended with intermittent aerobic exercises under the eye of professor Stefano Rapetti, chief of fitness coaches.
Technical director Marco Branca and sporting director Piero Ausilio observed the workout from the edge of
the pitch.
Andrea Stramaccioni, who was called to Coverciano yesterday evening for an important lesson as part of his master’s course, chose instead to return to Appiano Gentile with the team before heading out to Tuscany this morning.
