PRIMAVERA, AC MILAN 1-1 INTER: A LAST-GASP POINT

Rossoneri break the deadlock through Petagna, 10-man Nerazzurri level thanks to Benassi's 94th-minute penalty

MILAN – Inter Primavera were hosted by AC Milan in Week 11 of the Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti this afternoon, the first Derby della Madonnina at Under-19 level since the Nerazzurri beat the Rossoneri 3-2 five months ago in the semi-final of last season's tournament. Today's encounter was an evenly balanced affair for the first 45 minutes, before coming to life in the second period. AC Milan took the lead in the 58th minute, Petagna doing well to get his head on the end of Valoti's cross. Daniele Bernazzani's boys pushed for an equaliser and refused to give up even when reduced to ten men in the 90th minute after Garritano picked up his second booking. And they were rewarded for their efforts four minutes into stoppage time when Bocar won a penalty and Benassi converted from the spot. 1-1 the final score.
