APPIANO: MOLFETTA'S GOLD DAY WITH INTER

The Olympic champion and Nerazzurri fan met the players in Appiano, swapping his kimono for Zanetti's No.4 jersey

APPIANO GENTILE - Italian taekwondo champion Carlo Molfetta, who will be at the Meazza cheering on his beloved Inter tomorrow, paid the Nerazzurri a visit at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti today.

The Olympic Gold medallist in the +80kg category at London 2012 is well known for his black and blue faith: he started supporting Inter as a child, long before he became a symbol of Italian sport himself.

Today he met another symbol, Javier Zanetti, and received a signed No. 4 shirt from the Nerazzurri captain, which he exchanged with Pupi for one of his own combat kimonos.

Italian Taekwando Federation secretary Angelo Cito accompanied Molfetta on his visit to Appiano today. Besides the players, they also met Andrea Stramaccioni, technical director Marco Branca and team manager Ivan Cordoba.
