MILAN - After another imperious display, once again leading from the front, Andrea Ranocchia spoke to Sky Sport Italia following Inter's victory in this season's first derby: "This team has a lot of heart, that's what saw us through today. We suffered with a man down after Nagatomo's sending off, but showed we're a real team."
A team which is seeing the best of an ever-improving Ranocchia: "I have to thank everyone. My girlfriend, my family and the fans all stuck by me through the tough times. Now I'm giving all I can for this club, that's all I can do to repay the faith everyone has shown in me."
Ranocchia stressed that it's too early to start talking up his side's title chances, in spite of a great win: "We'll savour this victory and we need to focus on continuing our good form. We'll see where we are come the end of the season."
