APPIANO GENTILE - Speaking to Marco Barzaghi in an exclusive interview on Sport Mediaset on Italia 2 from 19:00, Javier Zanetti briefly touched on Inter's early season form: "We need to improve our performances at the San Siro, but we've made a lot of changes and of course things can be difficult at the start. We need to get back to our best in front of our own fans. Do I think the media went a bit overboard with their comments after our defeat against Roma? It made me laugh, everyone saw the game, Inter played well until a point, then something happened and we couldn't score a goal."
The captain then had a quick message for Alessandro Del Piero, who yesterday officially signed for Sydney FC: "I'd like him to know I'm thinking of him. He's a great player and Italian football will miss him a lot."
