MONTECARLO - "Let's wait until 7 pm and then the mystery will be over." That's how Inter chief executive Marco Fassone replied after the draw in Montecarlo, when asked by Sky Italia if Inter were preparing a deadline day signing. "A striker? Who knows, let's see."
Fassone went on to hail the contribution made by Andrea Stramaccioni: "President Moratti took a brave decision back in the spring, and it was a big one. Stramaccioni is showing everyone the qualities he has, the club is fully behind him and he's proved that he deserves it."
On the strong support provided by the Nerazzurri faithful in these first few outings at the Stadio Meazza this season: "Inter are the biggest club in Italy for passionate fans and for the number of season tickets. That gives us a great sense of satisfaction."
