PIATRA NEAMT - Andrea Ranocchia also deserves credit this evening for his excellent performance in the win over Vaslui, and he spoke to Inter Channel about the UEFA Europa League play-off first leg: "We're happy, we were a bit jaded come the end of the game but we managed to hold up. We came into the game after four training sessions this week in the blazing sun and we'd put a lot in. Thankfully the temperature was perfect tonight and the game went better."
On his season, the Nerazzurri defender added: "Right from day one of the training camp I got off on the right foot, but I need to work and keep on working because we're only at the start. How important has Stramaccioni been on this journey? A great deal, he's helped me an awful lot and he put his trust in me right from the start. My team-mates at the back are also very important, today the team were very aggressive going forward and that always makes things easier for us defenders."
