MILAN – Inter's Allievi Nazionali were all smiles after the first match of the U-17 international tournament organised by Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine that began today and ends on Sunday 19 August.
With eight teams participating (Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Zenit St. Petersburg, Hajduk Split, Slovan Bratislava and Konoplyov Academy), Salvatore Cerrone's Nerazzurri side beat Manchester City 3-1 in their opening game thanks to two goals from Steffè and one from Ponti.
In the other group match, the score ended at 1-1 between Hajduk Split and Zenit.
