MILAN - Andrea Ranocchia gave his thoughts to Inter Channel after Inter lost their first home match of the season, against Hajduk Split: "We weren't expecting this result - a couple of fluky goals and us unable to stick away the chances we created. It's quite normal at the start of the year but we didn't think we'd struggle as much as we did."
The Nerazzurri defender went on: "This is a good period for me. I'm training well and I'm pleased with how I'm coming along. Hopefully I can keep it up. Personal aims? I want to enjoy my football because last year I didn't really do that. Now I feel fine and I'm showing it on the pitch, showing some of the good things I can do."
What about the Meazza's new turf? "It's holding up well. My first impression is good; we'll have to see what it's like in the coming games."
