SAMADEN: "WE MOVE FORWARD WITH CONTINUITY"

The youth academy director unveils the coaching team for 2012/13 aiming to "win again"

MILAN - "Continuity with two exciting additions." Youth academy director, Roberto Samaden, thus sums up Inter's winning approach over the last decade and - after a record-breaking season - officially begins work on 2012/13. "It's my great pleasure to welcome two ex-Nerazzurri players to our coaching staff: Paolo Orlandoni and Benoit Cauet. They will offer the lads their great technical experience, along with their sense of belonging to the club and its colours, which is at the heart of our work."

Orlandoni will be the goalkeeping coach for the Primavera, a 'bridge' between the first team and the academy. "Paolo, over the course of his long and successful career between the sticks, had some terrific goalkeeping coaches. Luciano Castellini, for example, coached him as a kid and he's still teaching our youngsters today," Samaden added. "Benoit came through and won with Inter's academy and he will work with the 'Giovanissimi Nazionali' (under-15s). They are both good coaches and, above all, have already had friendly and working relationships with the other coaches. They will become part of a group which, from the 'Pulcini' (under-11s) to the Primavera, work to produce players and results for president Moratti, the club and Inter fans everywhere. We've just finished a very successful season, with the titles won by Daniele Bernazzani, Sergio Zanetti and Salvatore Cerrone, along with the first-ever European title for the Primavera under Andrea Stramaccioni, but we're already hungry and eager to go again. We will give everything in the new season, showing humility and determination. It's about continuity, the Nerazzurri tradition, and our professional and moral commitment which has guided us for years."
