GUBBIO - "It will be a very difficult match against AC Milan; it's a derby
and, furthermore, a place in the final is up for grabs. It will be a battle, but
my boys have played many big games this season. They look focused, calm and
with the right determination. We can promise that we'll give everything we have
to overcome this obstacle." Words from Daniele Bernazzani to inter.it as
he commented on the eve of the semi-final match of Primavera league tournament
– the Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti – scheduled for Wednesday 6 June at the Stadio
Barbetti in Gubbio (kick-off at 21:00, live on Sportitalia 1).
The Inter coach continued: "We have to recover our energy after Sunday's
match against Palermo, which we played in high temperatures, but I saw that the
boys are doing well and I'm not worried in that respect. Will we miss Marko
Livaja due to his suspension? He made a mistake and won't be able to play for
us, but I have a great group and many other solutions. That gives me the
possibility of having eleven players on the pitch without feeling his loss.
We'll also play in order to give him a chance to redeem himself in the next
game. Will I watch the semi-final between Lazio and Roma tonight? To be honest,
I still don't know yet. We're all focused on our game, and I'll think about the
rest later. The fact that AC Milan eliminated Juventus? They deserved to go
through. We respect them. We know them well and we have to concentrate on
ourselves, without fearing anyone else. It will be a great challenge and we
want to be ready for it. We want to give something back to our many fans who
are supporting us and who have followed us here. They also supported us against
Palermo, cheering us on throughout the match."
