INDONESIA 2012: FOOTBALL AND SOLIDARITY

Nerazzurri delegation visits the Rawinala centre, a school for 66 children with multiple disabilities

JAKARTA - Inter's tour is not only about the football pitch. Players and club officials are involved in number of different activities every day and this morning there was a visit to the Rawinala centre, a school for 66 children with Multi Disability and Visual Impairment (MDVI) but also some extraordinary talents.

Abel, the centre's excited and animated coordinator, led Bedy Moratti, Ernesto Paolillo, Ivan Cordoba, Paolo Orlandoni and Franco Combi around the class rooms to meet these affectionate kids and their tenacious teachers. The players hugged the blind children fondly, there was an amusing exchange of words with the physically disabled youngsters and then loud applause during the show put on for the Nerazzurri delegation. Theatre, music and songs all carried out with joy by the disabled boys and girls as they switched from one instrument to another, singing in English as well and even Pazza Inter in Italian.

After all the excitement Inter's passing can hopefully provide further stimulus for the valuable work done at Rawinala.
