His strike against Lazio means Milito equalled his personal record of 24 league goals, achieved with Genoa. "But I'd happily have swapped them all to have been challenging for the prizes we're used to at Inter..." the Prince sighed.
He continued: "We're looking forward. We're disappointed because we really wanted it, but we have to look forward. Our targets for next year? To be in the mix right up till the end and playing for the targets we're accustomed to. We'll get off to a good start next term and at least we ended this season well, apart from tonight's defeat. We must represent Inter as well as we can. We'll try to do well in Serie A and also in the Europa League."
