MILAN – They tried in every possible way to anger Javier Zanetti "but this can happen in a difficult moment of a match," explained the captain to Inter Channel. "Then I apologised to De Sciglio because he's young and nothing happened. As for the rest, tonight's match was a thriller. We played a great first half and going into the break at 1-1 is never easy. Then we let in the second goal at the beginning of the second half, but we showed an excellent reaction."
Inter v AC Milan was the last match for Ivan Cordoba: "It was a great gift for him. He deserved the joy and a victory like this one, against AC Milan in a packed San Siro. Coach Stramaccioni did the right thing sending him out on the pitch. With a player like Cordoba you can only thank him for all that he's done in these colours. He's like a brother to me. He's always been there for me and for the team in the rough moments, fighting and experiencing things that only we know about. When he arrived in Milan we became very good friends. He's golden. I believe that a great man and a great professional is leaving the game. We'll miss him very much. I hope he stays close to this club."
Then some words for Diego Milito, a goal-scorer who has been ever more incisive along the Nerazzurri's path: "You just have to compliment him... and luckily for us he's wearing the Inter shirt. We're all happy for him, also because he deserves this joy as well."
