APPIANO
GENTILE – The third session of the week ahead of Cagliari v Inter lasted
approximately 60 minutes. Andrea Stramaccioni and the technical staff had the
group carry out an initial warm-up phase, followed by technical and tactical
exercises. Lucio and Joel Obi worked out with their team-mates (Obi had trained
separately yesterday), while Ricardo Alvarez underwent the first part of
training with the group before continuing with a personalised individual
session.
For Julio Cesar (also disqualified, as is Lucio, for the match in Trieste) there was a personalised programme aimed at improving his match fitness, while Maicon and Wesley Sneijder undertook comprehensive recovery programmes (the Brazilian full-back was also on the pitch for part of the session). There was treatment and physiotherapy for Luc Castaignos.
Midfielder Lorenzo Crisetig returned to training and, together with goalkeeper Raffaele Di Gennaro, underwent a light training session after yesterday's game with the Primavera team. Also added to the training session were winger Rodrigo Alborno (1993), midfielder Marco Benassi (1994), forward Samuele Longo (1992) and goalkeeper Matteo Cincilla (1994).
Tomorrow morning, again at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in La Pinetina, there will be the final training session. At 13:00 Andrea Stramaccioni will give a press conference on the Cagliari match, which will be covered live on Inter Channel and inter.it, and in the early afternoon the team will depart for Trieste.
