APPIANO GENTILE – There was a beautiful goal, a shot off the crossbar with a
superb lob, but also a hamstring injury for Luc Castaignos that he suffered at
the end of the first half of the Inter v Padova match in the Primavera league,
held yesterday afternoon at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti, which was won
4-0 by Daniel Bernazzani's Inter. This morning, accompanied by professor Franco
Combi, the forward underwent instrumental checks at the Fondazione "IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo"
in Pavia. The scans revealed a 3rd
degree strain to his right hamstring.
At the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in La Pinetina, Castaignos has already
undergone his first session of treatment and physiotherapy, and the
rehabilitation staff has prepared a recovery programme that he will undertake
in the coming days.
