APPIANO: WORKING TOWARDS GENOA, 3 INDIVIDUALS

Julio Cesar worked separately (but not because of backache) in the gym and on the pitch

APPIANO GENTILE - An athletic warm-up with sprint work and tactical drills. That was the programme followed by the Nerazzurri this morning in their fourth training session of the week, as they prepare for the game against Genoa to be played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday 1 April (15:00 kick-off).

Cristian Chivu was back with the group after training separately yesterday while Ricardo Alvarez carried out a programme aimed at helping him reach full match fitness. Maicon had a personalised workout as he recovers from his knee problem and Wesley Sneijder had treatment and physiotherapy as part of his recovery programme. Julio Cesar trained separately again today (but not because of backache), first in the gym and then on the pitch.

Lorenzo Crisetig has joined the Primavera team ahead of tomorrow's U-19 league match against Chievo, while goalkeeper Matteo Cincilla (from the U-18 side) and defender Matteo Bianchetti trained with the first team.

Tomorrow the Nerazzurri will train in the morning. Andrea Stramaccioni will hold his press conference at 13:30 (live on Inter Channel and inter.it) and the team will meet back at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in the evening to begin their pre-match retreat.
