APPIANO GENTILE – An intense warm-up with ball-possession exercises, mini-matches and finishing exercises; in a word, technical and tactical work on a pitch reduced to 3/4 size. This describes the third session in each phase for Andrea Stramaccioni's Inter, again working in mixed groups.
Ricardo Alvarez returned to train once again with his team-mates for the first time since 6 March. Maicon was also with the group for the first part of training before going back to his individual strengthening workout. Davide Faraoni was back at the training centre after his stint with the Italian U-21 team. Cristian Chivu, however, followed a personalised programme while Julio Cesar continued with an individual strengthening workout. Wesley Sneijder received treatment and physiotherapy as part of his recovery programme.
Also added to the group this morning were the following players from the Primavera squad: Andrea Sala ('93, goalkeeper), Ibrahima Mbaye ('94, full-back), Matteo Bianchetti ('93, defender) and Samuele Longo ('92, forward).
