APPIANO GENTILE - The Nerazzurri's Primavera team have returned to training today and Roberto Samaden, Inter's youth academy director, took the opportunity to 'present' the new coach, or rather, to salute Daniele Bernazzani's grand return to the Primavera bench.
Samaden explained to Inter Channel: "He was our first choice and we're thrilled. I'm really happy because Bernazzani is a person who has already worked with us, who has already coached the Primavera team, with whom he won a Coppa Italia in a final against AC Milan, just as he also won with the Allievi. He's good and he's a winner. He won in the youth sector and he has experience with the first team. He's highly competent and has incredible human worth. Choosing him was the best solution there could have been, and I'm really satisfied and convinced that he'll ensure the consistency necessary to achieve the goal of reaching the finals, and then play them in the best way."
From the satisfaction with Bernazzani's return to that of Andrea Stramaccioni's move to the first team: "It's another victory for our youth sector. It's a satisfaction that president Moratti saw something in the youth sector to draw from."
Thoughts then turned to the next league match against Chievo Verona: "Today we went back to train, ready to immediately start again ahead of the important matches that await us in the league and with the aim of going directly to the finals. Saturday there's Chievo. Our first meeting of the season still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, because we played most of the match 10 against 11. We dominated and then we let in a goal on the break in injury time after missing two glaring chances. At any rate, the team showed important signals in a difficult environment and in some way perhaps that experience served us as preparation for the final of the NextGen Series, where we were 10 against 11," concluded Samaden with a smile.
