PRIMAVERA: A LONDON VISIT FROM WENGER AND BRADY

The Arsenal coach and ex Nerazzurri midfielder meet Stramaccioni's team

LONDON – The past, present and future of international football have met at Arsenal Training Centre where the Inter Primavera team continue their preparations for the big final against Ajax in the NextGen Series scheduled for Sunday 25 March at Leyton Orient Stadium (14:30 Italian time).

This morning Arsene Wenger and Liam Brady visited the Inter team coached by Andrea Stramaccioni. Arsenal's current coach as well as their former midfielder, who also played for Inter (the Irishman came up through the Gunners' youth teams and made his 1st-team debut with them at 17 years old before making 97 appearances with Inter, scoring 16 goals, between 1984 and 1986), wanted to get an up-close look at Inter's work methods. They also met with managing director and chief executive officer Ernesto Paolillo, youth academy director Roberto Samaden and youth academy head of scouts Pierluigi Casiraghi.

A meeting of worlds and cultures, of study and work, of professionalism and success, of Italy and England and of Inter and Arsenal: the NextGen Series also signifies these things.
