APPIANO: 70-MINUTE WORKOUT AHEAD OF ATALANTA

Guarin involved in end-of-session practice match; technique work on the pitch for Alvarez

APPIANO GENTILE - The Nerazzurri spent about 70 minutes on the pitch this morning as they completed their second training session ahead of the Atalanta game, scheduled for a 15:00 kick-off on Sunday at the Stadio Meazza.

Working on the Tribunetta pitch at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti, the players were taken through a warm-up and a series of tactical drills before finishing with a practice match. Julio Cesar, Cristian Chivu and Dejan Stankovic trained with the rest of the squad for most of the session but ended with some individual work, while Fredy Guarin trained separately at the start then joined in for the practice game.

Ricardo Alvarez followed a personalised programme aimed at getting him back to full match fitness, which included some technical exercises on the pitch. Wesley Sneijder had treatment and physiotherapy.

Tomorrow morning the Nerazzurri will be back at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti for their last session before Atalanta. Claudio Ranieri will hold his pre-match press conference at 13:00 (live on inter.it and Inter Channel).
