INTER ACADEMY: ABU DHABI AND GIRLS' FOOTBALL

With ADSC, a training course for 90 girls and from Monday, final exams for the local coaches' course

ABU DHABI – The activities of InterAcademy are proceeding with great success under the coordination of Marco Monti and have been focussed in Abu Dhabi these past few months. A two-week technical training course has just begun (from 12 to 23 February) in collaboration with local partner ADSC, specifically for a group of around 90 girls between the ages of 10 and 18 from various local football schools. The objective is to raise awareness and improve girls' football in the area from a tactical and technical point of view and this has met with great enthusiasm and interest on the part of the participants. Along with Marco Monti, Massimo Ciocci, Simone Romanella and Alessio Risari from the Nerazzurri training staff are also collaborating on this work session.

On Monday 20 February the technical course for local coaches which began last October will come to an end. A written test and oral discussion have been organised for the participants and they will receive a certificate of attendance and a final evaluation from F.C. Internazionale. ADSC, represented by their General Secretary Mohammed Al-Mahmood, were impressed by the quality of the initiative and hope to repeat it next season.
