"I really must thank them all for the affection they've shown," the Colombian said with more than a hint of emotion, before focusing on the pitch again: "I'll do my best to get fit as quickly as I can while respecting the times set by the Inter medical staff because I want to recover properly. I'm desperate to get out there but I have to take my time and make sure I my recovery is successful. At the moment I'm having therapy and doing strength-building and aerobic work. I'll do everything I can to get back to my best as soon as possible."
