INTER CHANNEL, PALOMBO: "INTER AN INCENTIVE"

The midfielder, who has joined his team-mates in Appiano Gentile, told Inter Channel he wants the No.17 shirt

APPIANO GENTILE - Angelo Palombo is now at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti in La Pinetina. After completing the bureaucratic aspects of his transfer at club headquarters, the new Nerazzurri signing was taken in a company Volvo to the training ground, where the team are staying ahead of tomorrow's match against Palermo at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan's San Siro district (20:45 kick-off).

During a brief telephone conversation with Inter Channel, which aired on the Nerazzurri news programme at 19:30, Palombo said, "Signing for Inter is an incentive for me to keep improving and do even better. I'm delighted to have joined such a great club. It's also nice to link up with some of my former team-mates from Sampdoria again," referring to Luca Castellazzi, Giampaolo Pazzini and Andrea Poli.

During the phone call on Inter Channel the midfielder also revealed that he wants to wear the number 17 shirt: "It's a number that's always been a part of me, it's tattooed onto my skin."
