PINZOLO - Pinzolo, 14 July, 10:00: it was over to the coaches of Inter Campus Africa as they took charge of today's training session after several days of observation. The dialogue and interaction between the kids and coaches Hipolito, Noè, Fred, Maicol, Alain, Said, Saadia, Alfonse and Maxence was surprising and moving.
Pinzolo, 14 July, 15:00: guest of honour at the kids' lesson was Franco Combi. Inter's chief of medical staff was an amusing and expert source of information for our young guests. Two hours of explanations and debate about diet: something often seen by children with diabetes as an inconvenient imposition suddenly seemed a much less stricter regime when they learned that their Nerazzurri heroes and athletes in general have to follow their own diets with discipline and rigour.
Pinzolo, 14 July, 17:00: we all went down to the pitch to cheer on the team in the first friendly fixture of this pre-season training camp in Pinzolo. There was an emotional moment for the kids when the players not involved in the match came over to greet them and sign autographs.Pinzolo, 15 July, 12:00: after the final tournament, with the immensely enthusiastic involvement of all the boys and girls on the Giustino pitch, there was one last surprise in store for the kids when they got to meet Nerazzurri players Ranocchia, Pazzini, Orlandoni, Mariga, Cordoba and Eto'o after their morning training session. They gave out smiles, hugs and autographs to make it a special moment the youngsters will never forget!
Pinzolo, 15 July, 14:00: rest for the children and a lesson for the Inter Campus Africa coaches. Stefano Bellinzaghi, who coaches Inter's Under-13 side, explained in detail how the Nerazzurri youth academy is structured and answered all the questions of our coaches, who are used to totally different set-ups in their own countries.Pinzolo, 15 July, 16:00: fun and games in Inter Village once more for the children on this Inter Campus holiday ahead of the final evening, where we were taken on an emotional rollercoaster of pictures of the week by our marvellous Franco Origlia before the awarding of the official certificates of participation.
