PINZOLO – Just one training session today at the Stadio Pineta. In the morning Gian Piero Gasperini divided the players into groups for special programmes according to their individual needs. The first group was mainly made up of those who had played a large part in yesterday's friendly, and they had a recovery session, some of it in the pool. The other Nerazzurri who hadn't played such a big part in the second friendly of the 2011 pre-season training camp worked on the pitch with technical drills.
Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, Raffaele Di Gennaro, Jonathan and Thiago Motta followed individual athletic rehabilitation programmes. Giampaolo Pazzini and Walter Samuel had their last individual sessions and will start training with the squad again tomorrow. Yuto Nagatomo was given tests, therapy and physiotherapy for a strain in his left thigh.
This afternoon the players will be able to rest.
Tomorrow however, at the Stadio Pineta in Pinzolo as usual, there will be two sessions and the afternoon session will be open to the public.
