MILAN – The 2011 edition of the prestigious international career award, the Golden Foot, under the high patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, was presented today on Radio Monte Carlo. With the contribution and opinions gathered from last year's winner, Roma captain Francesco Totti, the names of this year's ten candidates were announced: David Beckham (England), Gianluigi Buffon (Italy), Iker Casillas (Spain), Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast), Samuel Eto'o (Cameroon), Ryan Giggs (Wales), Carles Puyol (Spain), Raul González Blanco (Spain), Xavi Hernández (Spain), Javier Zanetti (Argentina).

The names of the Golden Foot jury which is made up of 58 journalists, representing the sports media throughout the world, have been selected.
