APPIANO GENTILE - The Nerazzurri returned to work today after a two-day break following Sunday's 3-2 victory over Udinese. Brazilian trio Julio Cesar, Lucio and Maicon were granted a day's rest after last night's friendly against Ireland in London, while the other ten internationals are still away with their national teams.
José Mourinho and the technical staff worked with a group of twelve players, which included Inter Primavera defenders Luca Caldirola and Giulio Donati, and Nigerian midfielder Nwankwo Obiora (born 1991; pictured here with Mariga).
The players trained for approximately ninety minutes. They performed possession exercises and played a series of tactical practice matches after a warm-up. Cristian Chivu and Davide Santon continued with their injury recovery programmes.
Tomorrow's training session, the second of the week ahead of Sunday night's home match against Genoa, will take place in the afternoon to allow the absent players time to return from international duty.
