LONDON - Brazil beat Giovanni Trapattoni's Ireland 2-0 in Tuesday's international friendly at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium. Robinho scored in the 76th minute to add to Andrews' own goal a minute before half time. Inter's Julio Cesar played 90 minutes, while Maicon and Lucio played 84 and 82 minutes respectively.

The players from both teams wore red laces to show their support for the (NIKE) RED Lace Up, Save Lives partnership that raises funds to help fight AIDS in Africa. The goal netting was red and a special white and red (NIKE) RED ball was used. The Brazilian players came onto the pitch wearing NIKE (RED) track jackets to show their commitment to the campaign which was launched last 30 November by U2's Bono, Didier Drogba, Mark Parker of NikeTown London and Inter's Marco Materazzi.
