MANCHESTER - The two-day General Assembly of ECA (European Club Association), gets under way today at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester. Inter will be represented at the event by managing director Ernesto Paolillo, also a member of ECA's Executive Board.
ECA, which represents 144 teams from the 53 UEFA member associations, will discuss a range of hot topics including UEFA's recent FFP (Financial Fair Play) proposal which sets a number of regulations to improve the economic stability of European football. Another important issue on the agenda is the role of players' agents.
On Tuesday, Paolillo will take part in a conference entitled Financial Prudence: can Europe's Elite Balance the Books? Organised as part of the Soccerex European Forum, the round table discussion will deal with the need for financial prudence and sustainable growth.
