Julio Cesar played between the posts for the whole ninety minutes of the 2-0 win. Maicon was substituted by Daniel Alves in the 65th minute, while Lucio made way for Cris in the 69th. Nilmar scored the opening goal in the 3rd minute, Oman's Al-Ghailani doubling Brazil's lead with an own goal 16 minutes after half time.
