MANCINI: "UDINESE TOUGH OPPONENT"

APPIANO GENTILE - Part one of Roberto Mancini's pre-Udinese v Inter news conference:

Mancini, how likely are we to see Cruz and Recoba start again in attack against Udinese?
"We will see after today's training. Against Spartak it was the first competitive match they had played and we also have to consider the fact that we have another match three days later (against Livorno at the Meazza), and on that occasion too we will need everyone at one hundred percent. In any case, we will see in today's training and see how they are tomorrow morning."

The Uruguayan has said that if he were Mancini he wouldn't do without a Recoba in this form.
"He's right... (smiles). However, I said before that we would see today. On Wednesday Recoba was tired after 50 minutes or even before. I can't field a player who risks getting hurt after a quarter of an hour. We have four important matches in ten days and we will need everyone. From today until tomorrow morning we will see what to do with him."

You face the youngest team in the championship and the most in-form team despite the absences of Muntari, Felipe and Asamoah.
"We have always had difficult games against Udinese. They're a team who play well, they attack, and they have always managed to cause problems for us. And I think they are capable of creating problems for anyone. They have started the championship very well this year. Does their pace worry me? Let's hope they're a bit slower tomorrow, but they will certainly want to do well because they are young and are up against Inter."

Are you thinking of using any new tactics for tomorrow's game? Maybe with Cruz as lone striker and Recoba and Ibrahimovic wider in support of the Argentine?
"Absolutely not."

Udinese coach Giovanni Galeone expressed certain opinions about you and Inter this week.
"I can only say that Galeone is a great coach. This is what I think. But everyone is free to express his own technical opinion."
