PIZARRO: "FOCUSED ON ROMA"

APPIANO GENTILE - "I'm very pleased with my game against Udinese on Sunday," David Pizarro said on Inter Channel before Thursday afternoon's training session at Angelo Moratti Sports Centre. "It was a positive match for me and a chance to play with continuity after the ninety minutes against Livorno and the second half against Ajax in Amsterdam. I hope I can make my contribution in other matches from now until the end of the season. This would be important for me. I also tried to score from free kicks? I always try to score when I have the chance. I didn't score against Udinese but I'm pleased all the same because I helped my team-mates score."

At the Olimpico on Sunday Inter face Roma, who under Pizarro's former coach Spalletti have notched a record eleven consecutive Serie A victories. "I know Spalletti well. He coached me during my years at Udinese," the Chilean midfielder said. "He deserves the excellent results he's getting and it's certainly no surprise. Roma are in excellent form at the moment and it will be very difficult to beat them. But this week we are working to win against a team that has collected a history-making series of results. They are very good at counter-attacking quickly, so we will have to be careful especially when we're not in possession of the ball. Let's hope we return to Milan with three points."
