MANCINI: "A DESERVED VICTORY"

TREVISO - "Today's victory is important and I'm pleased the team won. I said the match would be difficult and so it was, but in the end we deserved to win," said Roberto Mancini after Inter's Serie A Week 20 away win at Treviso.

"It wasn't a great pitch, it was very, very cold and it was freezing over. It was difficult to play well, also because Treviso fought for every ball. But apart from a few crosses from the last third they were never that dangerous."

On Treviso's penalty claim after an incident in the box involving Ivan Cordoba and Borriello, Roberto Mancini said: "Right after the ball was played the linesman drew the referee's attention to a foul by Borriello when he was trying to get rid of Cordoba. Perhaps he did so by pressing the button on his flag. I think this happened because the referee looked straight at the linesman."
