MILAN - Christian Vieri's diagonal volley from Alvaro Recoba's delightful assist saw Inter claw their way back into Sunday's match against Juventus. "Luckily we managed to draw a match which seemed lost," said the Nerazzurri number thirty-two to Inter Channel. "It's a point gained when you look at how the match was going. So a draw is better than a defeat."
Vieri admitted: "They didn't do much and found themselves two goals up. But they're top of the table and they deserve to be because they are a solid team."
"But we never gave up. We could have scored a third goal after equalising. You couldn't see the fifteen points' difference, but this is the gap and it means they have done more than us. Let's not look at the table at the moment. Let's just give everything and win as much as we can. Then we'll see what happens."
