36' Lucio does better from another long-range free kick. His low effort is through the ball but too central, allowing Mirante to make a comfortable save.
34' Zaccardo blocks a shot from Milito.
33' Thiago Motta plays in Milito with an inch-perfect pass, but Mirante narrows the angle and thwarts the Argentine. Nothing comes of the resulting corner.
31' Biabiany races past Zanetti down the left and crosses over to the far side. There's no Parma team-mate on hand to apply the final touch.
29' Inter win a free kick 35 metres from goal. Lucio steps up and blasts his effort high and wide.
26' Cambiasso looks for Lucio with his curling cross from a free kick. Castellini beats the Brazilian to the ball and heads behind for a corner.
25' Julio Cesar moves off his line quickly to beat Bojinov to an inviting ball into the area.
21' Inter close to an opener. Cambiasso swings in a cross from the right and Thiago Motta heads on target. Mirante makes a terrific save.

9' Maicon gallops down the right, getting past two opponents before hoofing his deep cross-shot over the bar.
6' Goran Pandev pounces on a loose ball on the edge of the box and hits a low shot at Mirante.
4' Parma's Bulgarian striker Bojinov gets a shot in from just outside our area. Julio Cesar saves.
3' Materazzi steals in at the near post and powers wide his header from Cambiasso's corner kick.
2' Early chance for Inter. Pandev combines swiftly with Eto'o and crashes a fierce left-foot shot on target. Mirante parries behind for a corner.
1' No Inter fan can forget our last trip to the Stadio Tardini, but for those who have it was on Sunday 18 May 2008 when Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned from injury to score twice and wrap up our 16th Scudetto.
1' We're game on at the Tardini as Inter kick off. FORZA NERAZZURRI!!!!
1' We'll be kicking off a few minutes late as Parma keeper Mirante has been given permission to return to the dressing room to change his socks.
1' Parma: 83 Mirante; 5 Zaccardo, 15 Dellafiore, 6 Lucarelli; 80 Valiani, 11 Jimenez, 4 Morrone, 14 Galloppa, 7 Castellini; 86 Bojinov, 20 Biabiany.

Subs: 1 Pavarini, 3 Antonelli, 8 Lunardini, 9 Lanzafame, 19 Zenoni, 43 Paloschi, 45 Galassi.
Inter: 12 Julio Cesar; 13 Maicon, 6 Lucio, 23 Materazzi, 2 Cordoba; 4 Zanetti, 19 Cambiasso, 8 Thiago Motta; 27 Pandev, 22 Milito, 9 Eto'o.

Subs: 1 Toldo, 7 Quaresma, 15 Krhin, 17 Mariga, 25 Samuel, 39 Santon, 45 Balotelli.
1' The lineups are official. José Mourinho has revolutionised his defence, with Lucio returning from suspension, Materazzi coming in for Samuel, and Cordoba replacing Santon at left-back. There are no other changes to the team that demolished Cagliari at the weekend.
1' There are two other other ex-Inter players in the Gialloblu XI: French striker Jonathan Ludovic Biabiany and Argentine defender Paolo Hernan Dellafiore. Hernan Crespo, another former Inter player who transferred to the Emilia-Romagna side after a six-month spell at Genoa, is out injured.
1' Tonight's match sees an early return to the Tardini for MacDonald Mariga, who completed his co-ownership switch from Parma ahead of transfer deadline at the start of last week. Luis Jimenez was loaned out to the Gialloblu as part of that deal on his return from West Ham and the Chilean attacking midfielder is in Parma's starting lineup to face his former side.
1' Inter go into tonight's match, postponed from the end of last month, with an eight-point lead over Roma who leapfrogged AC Milan into second spot with a slender win in Florence on Sunday evening. That means we will open up a massive 11-point gap with victory against Parma, who are without a win in six games.
1' There's no I in team now though. The Nerazzurri are a more complete unit this season, thanks also to some shrewd moves on the transfer market. We're dominating our Serie A opponents, playing better football, and the goals are coming from all over (48 of them in 22 league games).

Inter goalless in one of last twenty-four

Inter have failed to score in only one of their last 24 matches (0-2 at Barcelona on 24 November 2009), notching 47 goals in the other 23. In Serie A, Inter have scored 60 goals in their last 27 games, failing to score only once (0-1 at Sampdoria on 26 September 2009).

Parma crisis: one point in last six games

The Gialloblu last won a Serie A game on 13 December 2009 when they beat Bologna 2-1 at home. Guidolin's team have since played six league matches, drawing one and losing five. That win against Bologna is Parma's only success in their last 9 Serie A games (three draws and five defeats from the other eight).

Crespo three away from 200th goal

Hernan Jorge Crespo is within sight of a double century of goals for Italian clubs, having scored 197 times in games for Parma, Lazio, Inter, AC Milan and Genoa. Crespo, who has scored 143 goals in Serie A, 17 in Coppa Italia, 35 in European cups and 2 in other tournaments, netted his first 'Italian' goal in Parma's 3-1 league defeat to Inter on 27 October 1996.

Three Gialloblu on fire in February

February is the most prolific month of the footballing calendar for Parma's Hernan Crespo. Nineteen of the Argentine forward's 143 Italian league goals have come in the second calendar month. The same goes for Chilean midfielder Luis Jimenez (6 out of 32) and Italian striker Davide Lanzafame (3 out of 14).

Nerazzurri unbeaten in eleven games

Inter have won 9 games and drawn 2 since their last defeat, a 2-1 reverse against Juventus in Turin on 5 December 2009.

No other partnership like Eto'o & Milito

Samuel Eto'o and Diego Milito are Serie A's most prolific strike partnership after 23 rounds of matches. The Cameroonian and Argentine forwards have earned Inter 28 points with their goals (14 points each).

PARMA - Mario Balotelli came off the bench to fire home his eighth goal of the season and cancel out Valeri Bojinov's opener for Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

Wednesday night's 1-1 draw will be seen as two points dropped, but it's still a point gained as the Nerazzurri increase their lead at the top of Serie A to nine points.

In a repeat of his tremendous start against Cagliari, Pandev fired three warnings at Parma in the opening ten minutes, Mirante saving two of them and Valiani blocking the other.

Materazzi sent a strong header wide from Cambiasso's corner but Parma soon settled and proved a tough proposition on the counter-attack.

Bojinov brought a save from Julio Cesar early on but the better chances were Inter's and Thiago Motta saw his close-range header kept out by Mirante before splendidly setting up Milito who was thwarted by the Parma keeper.

Pandev ended the half as he started it, testing Mirante again from the 20-yard mark.

Whatever Guidolin said in his half-time pep talk, it worked as Parma made a strong start to the second period.

Valiani and Bojinov had shots blocked and Lucio defended brilliantly to keep at bay the Gialloblu, who were rewarded for their efforts ten minutes in when Bojinov slotted home from close range after Julio Cesar blocked Zaccardo's shot from a corner.

Sensing a change or two, José Mourinho replaced Thiago Motta and Cordoba with Balotelli and Santon.

SuperMario obliged with the equaliser less than two minutes after coming on. Lucio got a touch from a left-wing corner and Balotelli was in the right place at the right time to rifle past Mirante.

In a lightning-fast run Biabiany tore past Materazzi and went through on goal before seeing his angled shot blocked by Julio Cesar, while Mariga went close against his ex-team with a low shot from 20 yards after Dellafiore's loose clearance.

The good work done by Parma was undone by Valiani in the 72nd minute when he was sent off for a second yellow. Inter tried to capitalise and Balotelli volleyed wide from a tight angle after a brilliant long-range pass from Mariga.

Materazzi, playing up front in the final stages after suffering a muscle strain with all three substitutions already used, went close in time added on when he rose to head over a left-wing cross from Santon.
